Just south of Famoso finds a southbound UP intermodal racing down the last remaining miles of it's journey down California's Central Valley before arriving at Bakersfield.
An ex-DMIR unit is the elevator switcher at Western Milling in Famoso. Unfortunately this unit has since been replaced.
Built by Knoxville Locomotive Works in November 2017, Western Milling's newest addition arrived on the property just about 2 months ago, and will be replacing the SD18 here.

The Southbound brooklyn trailers, ZBRLC are in the siding at Famoso on the Fresno Sub. Trains were being held this day due to a MOW project in the Tehachapi's making for a slow day.
